Can we buy extra drinks on the tour?
Yes. Pre-pay a 3-drink package for $27 per person up to 24 hours before you ride, or pay $36 per person on the day for the same package. Single drinks are $10 pre-paid and $12 on the day. Mocktails $10, soft drinks $4, Red Bull $5, jello shots $5 — and bottled water is free on every tour.
Three drinks per person is the limit on board; a fourth is at your driver’s discretion on the day. Didn’t finish your package? Whatever’s left is yours to enjoy back at HomeBase after your ride.
All drinks are supplied by us, so no BYO alcohol — we’re licensed. Food is a different story: bring whatever you like. Full drinks menu
What if we end up with fewer or more people than we booked?
A private bike is one flat price for up to 16 riders — eight people or sixteen, same bike, same price.
Public tours need at least 6 riders booked to run. If your session doesn’t reach 6, we’ll offer you a free reschedule to another time, or a full refund — your choice.
We’re more than 16 — can we book multiple bikes?
Yes — we can run groups up to 96 riders, subject to availability. Book two or more bikes into the same time slot and they ride as a convoy, or tell us your numbers on the group enquiry form and we’ll set it up for you. You can also text us on 0421 858 153.
For anything over two bikes, get in touch a few months ahead if you can — big convoys need the bikes and the drivers lined up, and the good dates go early.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Plans change, we get it. First, deposits: bookings made more than 7 days ahead are secured with a $5 deposit, which is non-refundable. The balance is due 7 days before your tour, paid through the payment link in your booking confirmation email. Beyond that, what applies depends on what you booked.
Individual seat tours and Progressive Dinner tours — cancel more than 48 hours before your tour and we’ll refund you in full, no fees. Inside 48 hours we can’t offer a refund, because there isn’t time to resell your seat.
Private and group bookings with Trip Insurance ($45 at booking) — cancel any time up to 24 hours before your tour and we’ll refund the full cost of the tour. The insurance fee itself isn’t refundable.
Private and group bookings without Trip Insurance — more than 14 days out, a refund or rain check less a $25 admin fee. Inside 14 days, no refund or rain check, and you’re responsible for the full price of the tour even if you’ve only paid the deposit so far.
Whatever you’ve booked, tell us as soon as you know. We’ll do our best to fill your tour, and if we can fill your spot we’ll refund you in full less the $25 admin fee. Rain checks are valid for 3 years, so if you take one there’s no rush to rebook.
Do you cancel for bad weather?
We ride rain or shine, so dress for the forecast. Two exceptions:
Thunderstorms. If storms are imminent we’ll contact you at least 2 hours before your start time and offer a rain check. You’re welcome to decline and ride anyway, as long as conditions are safe. Never assume your tour is off unless you’ve heard from us.
Extreme heat. If the forecast for your tour window is 36°C or above, we’ll contact you by 10am on the day and offer a rain check. If it’s shaping up hot and you haven’t heard from us, get in touch — we can usually move you to a cooler part of the day
